Sensex up 22pts; auto, cement stocks shine

The Sensex is now up 22 points at 10,135.

Dr.Reddy's rallied 6.7% to Rs 1,250.

Auto stocks are also in demand - Tata Motors has zoomed over 4% to Rs 801. Hero Honda has gained nearly 3% at Rs 918, and Maruti has moved up 1.7% to Rs 765.

Grasim has surged 3.8% to Rs 1,708. ACC has added 2% to Rs 590.

HDFC Bank has advanced nearly 2% to Rs 757.

Infosys and Satyam have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 2,808 and Rs 747, respectively.

Tata Power is up 1.3% at Rs 496. Tata Steel is up 1% at Rs 391.

Ranbaxy has declined 2% to Rs 438.

ITC has shed 1.7% to Rs 168. Hindalco, NTPC, ONGC and Bajaj Auto have slipped over 1% each.
