Sensex up 22pts, Tata Motors gains 5%

The Sensex is now up 22 points at 7,898.

Tata Motors has moved up 5% (Rs 23) to Rs 493. Maruti is also up 4% (Rs 22) at Rs 507. Hero Honda has added Rs 22 to Rs 686. Bajaj is up Rs 31 at Rs 1,486.

Tata Steel has gained 2% (Rs 9) to Rs 403.

ONGC is up a per cent (Rs 12) at Rs 988. Reliance is up Rs 2 at Rs 729, and ITC has added Rs 4 to Rs 1,733.

TCS has moved up Rs 14 to Rs 1,433.

Infosys has declined Rs 15 to Rs 2,411. HLL, Grasim, ICICI Bank and HDFC are also trading with losses.
