Sensex up 236pts; breadth extremely +ve

The Sensex is now up 236 points at 20,166.

ONGC has soared 3.6% to Rs 1,237, and Bharti Airtel has surged 3% to Rs 1,000.

HDFC has rallied 2.6% to Rs 2,948, and Grasim has added 2.4% to Rs 3,700.

Reliance, Hindalco and ACC have advanced 1.8% each to Rs 2,873, Rs 197 and Rs 1,082, respectively.

BHEL and Maruti have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 2,723 and Rs 1,063, respectively.

HDFC Bank and Cipla are up 1.5% each at Rs 1,719 and Rs 196, respectively.

Infosys has slipped 1.3% to Rs 1,725.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,727 stocks traded so far, 2,210 have advanced, 494 have declined and 23 are unchanged.
