The Sensex is now up 238 points at 9,885. The NSE Nifty is now up 66 points at 3,025.
Reliance Communication has soared 6.6% to Rs 242. Satyam has surged enarly 6% to Rs 180. Sterlite has gained 4.5% to Rs 275.
Tata Steel has moved up 5.1% to Rs 228. Reliance Infrastructure and Larsen & Toubro have gained 4.8% each to Rs 607 and Rs 811, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates and Maruti are up 4.6% each to Rs 86 and Rs 544, respectively.
Hindalco and Tata Motors have advanced 4.4% each to Rs 54 and Rs 166, respectively.
ICICI Bank is up 3.7% to Rs 465. DLF, ONGC, ACC and Wipro are up 2.8% each to Rs 290, Rs 686, Rs 491 and Rs 240, respectively.
Ranbaxy is the only loser among the Sensex stocks, lost 0.7% to Rs 250.
