Sensex up 23pts; M&M rallies 3%

The Sensex is now up 23 points at 19,626.

Mahindra & Mahindra has soared over 3% to Rs 775.

BHEL and Tata Steel has surged around 2% each to Rs 2,815 and Rs 857, respectively.

Ambuja Cements has gained 1.7% at Rs 155. Larsen & Toubro and DLF have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 4,235 and Rs 959, respectively.

Infosys and ACC are up over 1% each at Rs 1,620 and Rs 1,103, respectively.

ICICI Bank has shed 1.7% at Rs 1,145.

Reliance and TCS have slipped over 1% each to Rs 2,894 and Rs 1,041, respectively.

Out of 2,815 stocks traded so far, 1,968 have advanced, 786 have declined and 61 are unchanged.
