Sensex up 23pts; market breadth weak

The Sensex is now up 23 points at 11,471.

Dr.Reddy's, Reliance and Tata Motors have rallied around 2% each to Rs 1,481, Rs 1,065 and Rs 832, respectively.

HLL has surged 1.7% to Rs 234. BHEL, Reliance Communications, Ranbaxy and HDFC are up around 1% each.

ONGC has dropped 2.5% to Rs 1,210. Hindalco, Reliance Energy and Tata Steel have slipped over 2% each to Rs 165, Rs 468 and Rs 522, respectively.

Hero Honda is down 1.5% at Rs 695.

Out of 2,472 stocks traded so far, 1,627 have declined, 790 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
