Sensex up 241pts; breadth still -ve

The Sensex is now up 241 points at 12,821.

Gujarat Ambuja has soared over 5% to Rs 110. HLL has rallied 4.6% to Rs 176, and ONGC has surged over 4% to Rs 797.

Dr.Reddy's has advanced around 3.5% to Rs 656. Hindalco, HDFC Bank and Ranbaxy have moved up around 3% each at Rs 131, Rs 942 and Rs 318, respectively.

Wipro, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors have added 2.7% each to Rs 572, Rs 849 and Rs 760, respectively.

The market breadth continues to remain negative - out of 2,265 stocks traded so far, 1,221 have declined, 984 have advanced and 60 are unchanged.
