Sensex up 243pts; ONGC, NTPC up 2%

The Sensex is now up 243 points at 19,834.

Reliance Energy and Hindalco have surged 2.4% each to Rs 1,864 and Rs 188, respectively.

ONGC, NTPC, Larsen & Toubro and Maruti have rallied around 2% each to Rs 1,326, Rs 242, Rs 4,370 and Rs 1,014, respectively.

SBI and Bharti Airtel have moved up 1.8% each to Rs 2,280 and Rs 959, respectively.
