Sensex up 245pts; Satyam zooms 7%

The Sensex is now up 245 points at 13,359.

Satyam has soared over 7% to Rs 479. Wipro has zoomed over 5% to Rs 568, and TCS has surged 4.7% to Rs 1,257. Infosys has gained 2.5% at Rs 2,093.

SBI has advanced 3.5% to Rs 1,002. Bajaj Auto and Hero Honda have rallied 3% each to Rs 2,424 and Rs 647, respectively.

ICICI Bank has moved up 2.7% to Rs 872. Tata Steel and Reliance Communications are up around 2.5% each at Rs 509 and Rs 419, respectively.

NTPC has shed 1.5% to Rs 158.

Out of 2,565 stocks traded so far, 1,599 have advanced, 879 have declined and 87 are unchanged.
