Sensex up 248pts

The Sensex is now up 248 points at 11,788.

Bajaj Auto has rallied 6.4% to Rs 2,945. TCS has surged over 6% to Rs 2,019. ONGC has surged over 5% to Rs 1,309.

Reliance and Larsen & Toubro have rallied nearly 4% each to Rs 885 and Rs 2,636.

Cipla, Wipro and Satyam have advanced 3.5% each to Rs 683, Rs 559 and Rs 856, respectively.

Reliance Energy and Infosys have moved up 2.7% each to Rs 636 and Rs 3,315, respectively. ITC has added 2.5% to Rs 198.

HLL has gained 2% at Rs 281. Hero Honda, HDFC Bank, SBI, Dr.Reddy's, Bharti Tele, HDFC, ICICI Bank and NTPC are also trading with smart gains.
