Sensex up 250pts, NTPC gains 3%

The Sensex is now up 248 points at 14,673.

SBI is still up over 4% at Rs 1,526. ICICI Bank is still up nearly 3% at Rs 858.

Reliance has gained over 2% at Rs 1,811.

NTPC has moved up over 3% to Rs 169.

Hindalco is steady at Rs 147 - up 3%. Tata Steel has moved up 2.5% to Rs 597.

Maruti has gained over 3.5% at Rs 814.

Breadth continues to be bullish - out of 2,327 scrips traded till now, 1,811 have logged gains.
