Sensex up 25pts

The Sensex is now up 25 points at 12,262.

Tata Steel has surged 2.5% to Rs 509, and Tata Motors has gained nearly 2% at Rs 850.

ICICI Bank has advanced over 2% to Rs 669. Reliance and Bharti Airtel are up 1.4% each at Rs 1,171 and Rs 476, respectively.

Bajaj Auto and ITC have slipped 1.4% each to Rs 2,877 and Rs 185, respectively.

HLL and Dr.Reddy's are down 1% each at Rs 255 and Rs 742, respectively.

Out of 2,503 stocks traded so far, 1,257 have declined, 1,160 have advanced and 86 are unchanged.
