Sensex up 25pts; market breadth bullish

The Sensex is now up 25 points at 12,480.

Reliance Communications has rallied nearly 2% to Rs 353. Bajaj Auto and Hindalco have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 3,043 and Rs 174, respectively.

ITC, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Energy and ICICI Bank are up 1% each at Rs 190, Rs 474, Rs 488 and Rs 706, respectively.

HDFC has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 1,506. Ranbaxy and Cipla have dropped around 1.5% each to Rs 433 and Rs 259, respectively.

HLL, Dr.Reddy's and Infosys are the other notable losers.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,146 stocks traded so far, 1,413 have advanced, 671 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
