Sensex up 25pts; Reliance gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 25 points at 13,974.

Reliance has surged nearly 2% to Rs 1,304. BHEL and Tata Steel have advanced over 1% each to Rs 2,649 and Rs 494, respectively.

Hindalco and Larsen & Toubro are up 1% each at Rs 179 and Rs 1,476, respectively.

HDFC has slipped 2% to Rs 1,558. Wipro and Infosys are down nearly 1% each at Rs 585 and Rs 2,227, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,226 stocks traded so far, 1,306 have moved up, 856 have slipped and the rest are unchanged.
