Sensex up 25pts; Reliance rallies 2%

The Sensex is now up 25 points at 10,301.

Ranbaxy has surged nearly 4% to Rs 385. Wipro and Satyam have rallied 2.5% each to Rs 460 and Rs 702, respectively.

Reliance has advanced 2.2% to Rs 996. HDFC Bank has added 2% to Rs 745.

HDFC has declined 2.2% to Rs 1,096. Hero Honda has slipped 2% to Rs 755.

Out of 2,436 stocks traded so far, 1,189 have advanced, 1,198 have declined and 49 are unchanged.
