Sensex up 25pts; RIL, tech stocks gain

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 25 points at 12,378.

HDFC has surged 2.3% to Rs 1,472. Reliance is up 1% at Rs 1,154.

Technology stocks continue to witness buying. Wipro has gained 1.3% at Rs 536. Infosys and TCS are up 1% each at Rs 2,001 and Rs 1,056, respectively.

ICICI Bank and HLL have declined 1.5% each to Rs 677 and Rs 232, respectively. Cipla is down 1% at Rs 259.

ITC and HDFC Bank are the other prominent losers.

Out of 2,324 stocks traded so far, 1,158 have declined, 1,097 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
