Sensex up 25pts; SBI, REL shine

The Sensex is now up 25 at 14,521.

SBI has advanced 1.4% to Rs 1,426. BHEL, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Energy and ICICI Bank have moved up 1.2% each to Rs 1,389, Rs 837, Rs 548 and Rs 944, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, Infosys and Tata Steel are up nearly 1% each to Rs 2,240, Rs 1,934 and Rs 643, respectively.

ITC has shed 1.8% to Rs 162. Larsen & Toubro has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,946.

Gujarat Ambuja, ACC and Maruti are the other notable losers.

Out of 2,566 stocks traded so far, 1,249 have advanced, 1,242 have declined and 75 are unchanged.
