Sensex up 25pts; SBI stands firm

The Sensex is now up 25 points at 11,557.

SBI has rallied 3.5% to Rs 905.

Tata Steel has moved up 1.4% to Rs 525. HLL, Reliance and Grasim are the other prominent gainers.

HDFC Bank and Tata Motors have slipped 1% each to Rs 845 and Rs 852, respectively.

The market breadth is still positive - out of 2,422 stocks traded so far, 1,456 have advanced, 878 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
