The Sensex is now up 260 points at 9,908. The NSE Nifty is now up 75 points at 3,034.
Reliance Communication has zoomed nearly 8% to Rs 245. Satyam has surged 6.7% to Rs 181. Wipro has soared 6.4% to Rs 248.
Larsen & Toubro has gained nearly 6% to Rs 820. Sterlite and Maruti are up 5.5% each to Rs 275 and Rs 548, repsectively.
Tata Steel has advanced 5.4% to Rs 228, and Jaiprakash Associates has moved up 5.2% to Rs 87.
Reliance Infrastructure and Hindalco are up 5% each to Rs 608 and Rs 54, respectively.
Tata Motors and Tata Power are up 4.6% each at Rs 166 and Rs 782.
Ranbaxy is the only loser among the Sensex stocks, lost 1% to Rs 250.
