Sensex up 263pts; HLL, Bharti shine

The Sensex is now up 263 points at 14,273.

Gujarat Ambuja and Larsen & Toubro have rallied 3.3% each to Rs 136 and Rs 1,667, respectively. Cipla has surged 3% to Rs 251.

Maruti, Hero Honda and ICICI Bank have moved up 2.8% each to Rs 881, Rs 733 and Rs 940, respectively.

HLL and Bharti Airtel are up around 2.5% each at Rs 206 and Rs 781, respectively.

Out of 2,484 stocks traded so far, 2,044 have advanced, 403 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
