Sensex up 263pts; ICICI, NTPC soar

The Sensex is now up 263 points at 13,445.

ICICI Bank has rallied 4.5% to Rs 867. NTPC has soared over 4% to Rs 146.

Reliance Energy and Gujarat Ambuja have surged over 3.5% each to Rs 534 and Rs 139, respectively.

Reliance Communications, Cipla, Satyam and Dr.Reddy's have advanced around 3% each to Rs 446, Rs 245, Rs 461 and Rs 807, respectively.

Out of 2,548 stocks traded so far, 2,018 have moved up, 466 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
