Sensex up 265pts; HDFC, HDFC Bank rally

The Sensex is now up 265 points at 20,195.

ONGC has zoomed nearly 4% to Rs 1,241. Bharti Airtel and HDFC Bank have soared 2.8% each to Rs 998 and Rs 1,740, respectively.

HDFC has rallied 2.5% to Rs 2,947. NTPC and Bajaj Auto have surged over 2% each to Rs 247 and Rs 2,771, respectively.

Grasim, ICICI Bank and Reliance have gained 1.8% each at Rs 3,682, Rs 1,297 and Rs 2,874, respectively.

Infosys is down 1% at Rs 1,730.

Out of 2,862 stocks traded so far, 2,205 have advanced, 629 have declined and 28 are unchanged.
