Sensex up 267pts; Maruti slips 3%

The Sensex is now up 267 points at 15,610.

The NSE Nifty is up 76 points at 4,723.

Satyam and Wipro have soared over 4% each to Rs 443 and Rs 433, respectively. TCS has surged nearly 4% to Rs 903, and Infosys has gained 2.3% at Rs 1,517.

Ranbaxy has rallied nearly 4% to Rs 476. ICICI Bank has advanced 3.5% to Rs 790.

Bharti Airtel and ITC have gained 2.7% each at Rs 805 and Rs 206, respectively.

Reliance has moved up 2.3% to Rs 2,374. ONGC, Mahindra & Mahindra and Hindustan Unilever are up around 2% each at Rs 1,027, Rs 618 and Rs 246, respectively.

Maruti has slipped 2.6% to Rs 744, and Ambuja Cements has shed nearly 2% at Rs 117.

BHEL and Reliance Energy are down over 1% each at Rs 1,613 and Rs 1,153, respectively.
