Sensex up 268pts; RCL zooms 5%

The Sensex opened with a huge positive gap of 183 points at 10,190. The index flared up to a high of 10,338, and is now up 268 points at 10,275.

Reliance Communications (RCL) has soared 5% to Rs 250. Tata Motors has rallied 4.5% to Rs 687.

ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank has surged 4% each to Rs 486 and Rs 726, respectively.

Wipro and BHEL have advanced 3.5% each to Rs 475 and Rs 1,820, respectively.

Hindalco, ITC, Maruti and Gujarat Ambuja are up over 3% each at rs 160, Rs 173, Rs 747 and Rs 103, respectively.

There are no losers among the index stocks.
