Sensex up 26pts, NTPC gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 26 points at 14,139.

NTPC has gained nearly 2% at Rs 140. L&T is up 1.5% at Rs 1,543.

Tata Steel is still up 1.4% at Rs 489. Wipro is still up over 1% at Rs 645.

Tata Motors is up over 1% at Rs 968. Maruti, Hero Honda and Bajaj are still trading with gains.

Breadth continues to be positive - out of 2,388 scrips traded till now, 1,692 have logged gains and 645 have declined.
