Sensex up 26pts; Ranbaxy up 2%

The Sensex is now up 22 points at 13,956.

Ranbaxy has surged nearly 2% to Rs 389. Hero Honda has gained 1.8% at Rs 710.

Reliance and HDFC have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 1,606 and Rs 1,657, respectively. BHEL is up 1% at Rs 2,522.

Satyam has slipped 1.8% to Rs 462. Wipro and Infosys are down 1% each at Rs 561 and Rs 2,052, respectively.

Out of 2,504 stocks traded so far, 1,351 have advanced, 1,077 have declined and 76 are unchanged.
