Sensex up 276pts; Grasim, HLL soar 6%

The Sensex is now up 276 points at 9205.

Grasim and HLL have soared over 6% each to Rs 1,693 and Rs 197, respectively. Wipro and BHEL are up around 5% each at Rs 410 and Rs 1,681, respectively.

ACC, Tata Steel, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank and Gujarat Ambuja have gained around 5% each at Rs 726, Rs 401, Rs 1,907, Rs 667 and Rs 88, respectively.

Out of 2,009 stocks traded so far, 1,086 have advanced, 872 have declined and 51 are unchanged.
