Sensex up 27pts; Siemens zooms 6%

The Sensex is now up 27 points at 8,880.

Bharti has moved up 2.6% (Rs 9) to Rs 373. NTPC is up 2.6% (Rs 3) at Rs 106.

BHEL is still up over 2% (Rs 32) at Rs 1,418. Tata Power is up Rs 10 at Rs 449. L&T is still up Rs 34 at Rs 1,678.

Ranbaxy is now up Rs 6 at Rs 377. Dr. Reddy's is up Rs 13 at Rs 938.

SBI has gained Rs 5 to Rs 912. ONGC is also up Rs 5 at Rs 1,024. HLL has declined Rs 2 to Rs 184.

Advances are way ahead of declines - out of 1,966 scrips traded, 1,119 have advanced, 776 have declined and 71 are unchanged.

Siemens has zoomed over 6% (Rs 188) to Rs 3,133. ABB is up Rs 57 (3%) at Rs 1,990.
