Sensex up 288pts; ICICI Bank soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 288 points at 19,227.

HDFC Bank has zoomed 4.5% to Rs 1,680, and ICICI Bank has soared nearly 4% to Rs 1,170.

Maruti has surged 3% to Rs 995, and Wipro has gained 2.6% at Rs 461.

HDFC and Infosys have rallied 2% each to Rs 2,766 and Rs 1,601, respectively.

ITC, Tata Motors and TCS have advanced 1.7% each to Rs 190, Rs 733 and Rs 992, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra, SBI and Hindalco have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 721, Rs 2,285 and Rs 187, respectively.
