Sensex up 28pts; Cipla weak

The Sensex is now up 28 points 13,888.

HDFC Bank has advanced 1.5% to Rs 1,073, and Reliance Communications has moved up 1.3% to Rs 481.

Tata Motors is up over 1% each to Rs 917.

Cipla has shed 1.5% to Rs 255.

Out of 2,552 stocks traded so far, 1,292 have advanced, 1,189 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
