Sensex up 28pts; Hero Honda, L&T lead

The Sensex is now up 28 points at 12,913.

Hero Honda has rallied 3% to Rs 675. Larsen & Toubro has surged 2.6% to Rs 1,607.

HDFC, TCS and Wipro have advanced 1.4% each at Rs 1,540, Rs 1,218 and Rs 566, respectively.

HLL, Satyam and Reliance are up around 1% each at Rs 200, Rs 461 and Rs 1,361, respectively.

ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, BHEL and Tata Motors are down 1.3% each at Rs 847, Rs 943, Rs 2,251 and Rs 709, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,111 stocks traded so far, 1,241 have advanced, 804 have declined and 66 are unchanged.
