Sensex up 28pts; Hindalco slips 2%

The Sensex is now up 28 points at 13,645.

HDFC Bank has surged 2.7% to Rs 1,117. TCS has advanced over 2% to Rs 1,189. Dr.Reddy's has gained 1.7% at Rs 747.

Wipro and Cipla have moved up 1.5% each to Rs 592 and Rs 253, respectively. Reliance Communications has spurted over 1% to Rs 428.

ICICI Bank and Maruti are up 1% each at Rs 865 and Rs 930, respectively.

Hindalco has slipped 1.6% to Rs 173. NTPC and Reliance Energy have declined 1.2% each to Rs 147 and Rs 538, respectively.

ONGC and Ranbaxy are down 1% each at Rs 848 and Rs 376, respectively.
