Sensex up 28pts; Wipro, SBI weak

The Sensex is now up 28 points at 14,835.

Ambuja Cements has soared 3.5% to Rs 129, and ACC has surged 3% to Rs 967. Grasim has moved up 1% at Rs 2,733.

Cipla has rallied 2.3% to Rs 219. Hindustan Unilever, Tata Motors, Tata Steel and Reliance have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 198, Rs 698, Rs 609 and Rs 1,729, respectively.

Wipro, SBI, BHEL and ONGC have declined over 1% each to Rs 509, Rs 1,564, Rs 1,529 and Rs 878, respectively.

The market breadth is negative - out of 2,347 stocks traded so far, 1,276 have declined, 1,009 have advanced and 62 are unchanged.
