Sensex up 28pts; Wyeth slumps 13%

The Sensex is now up 28 points at 10,141.

Dr.Reddy's is up 4.2% at Rs 1,222. Grasim, ACC, Hero Honda, SBI, Larsen & Toubro, Satyam and Tata Steel have added 1-2% each.

Ranbaxy and Hindalco are down 1.5% each at Rs 440 and Rs 161, respectively. HLL, ONGC and ITC have slipped 1% each.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,223 stocks traded so far, 1,349 have advanced, 809 have declined and the rest are unchanged.

3M India has hit the 10% upper limit at Rs 1,140. McLeod Russel, Nodia Toll, Henkel India, Jayshee Tea, Adani Exports, SKF India, Castrol, Tamilnadu Newsprint, Hexware, Gillette and India Cements have posted solid gains.

Wyeth has plunged over 13% to Rs 666. Radico Khaitan, Indiabulls, Suashis Diamond, Radha Madhav, National Aluminium, GSK Pharma, Hindustan Zin and ICI India are in the declining mode.
