Sensex up 297pts; BHEL, Wipro up 5%

The Sensex is now up 297 points at 9226.

There is not a single loser among the Sensex stocks.

Grasim has surged 6.6% to Rs 1,700. HLL has rallied 6% to Rs 197. Tata Steel is up 5.6% at Rs 407.

BHEL and Wipro have spurted over 5% each to Rs 1,688 and Rs 411, respectively.

ACC, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank, ITC and Infosys have gained over 4% each at Rs 726, Rs 1,907, Rs 668, Rs 154 and Rs 2,583, respectively.

Out of 2,076 stocks traded so far, 1,160 have advanced, 857 have declined and 59 are unchanged.
