Cipla has dropped 3.5% to Rs 216. Tata Steel has shed 2.5% at Rs 784.
Wipro has slipped 1.7% to Rs 459, and Maruti has declined 1.3% to Rs 727.
Infosys and Hindalco are down 1% each at Rs 1,670 and Rs 187, respectively.
Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has surged 3.5% to Rs 254. HDFC Bank has rallied 2% to Rs 1,530.
Reliance Communications has moved up 1.7% to Rs 587. HDFC, Bharti Airtel and DLF are up over 1% each at Rs 2,724, Rs 937 and Rs 675, respectively.
Out of 2,539 stocks traded so far, 1,435 have advanced, 1,036 have declined and 68 are unchanged.
