Sensex up 29pts, Ranbaxy gains 3%

The Sensex is still up 29 points at 8,500.

HDFC Bank is still up 4.5% (Rs 29) at Rs 664.  HDFC is still up Rs 32 at Rs 1,082. ICICI Bank is up Rs 9 at Rs 524.

SBI is now up Rs 6 at Rs 877. ONGC is steady at Rs 985 - up Rs 5.

TCS is steady at Rs 1,505 - up Rs 21. While Infosys is up Rs 3 at Rs 2,686, Wipro is a notch higher at Rs 404.

Ranbaxy has advanced over 3% (Rs 13) to Rs 395. Dr. Reddy's is now up Rs 7 at Rs 946.

HLL is now down Rs 3 at Rs 169. Reliance has dropped Rs 2 to Rs 794.
