Sensex up 300pts; Wipro advanced 6%

Markets have advanced further.

The Sensex is at 14,975 up 309 points. The Nifty is up 77 points to 4507.

Ranbaxy has gone up further to Rs 285, up 7%, while Wipro is trading 6% higher at Rs 430. RCom, TCS and Jaiprakash Associates are trading over 4% each at Rs 323.50, Rs 769 and Rs 216 respectively. Maruti, DLF, SBI, Infosys, Hindalco, L&T and Tata Steel are all up over 3% each.

There are only three losers in the Sensex - NTPC, Bharti and Tata Motors, all three are down marginally.
