Sensex up 30pts; Grasim surges 3%

The Sensex is now up 30 points at 15,476.

Grasim has surged 2.5% to Rs 3,135.

Tata Motors, Reliance Energy, Ranbaxy and Mahindra & Mahindra have advanced over 1% each to Rs 707, Rs 833, Rs 405 and Rs 718, respectively.

ACC and Bajaj Auto are the other prominent gainers.
