Sensex up 30pts; ITC sheds 3%

The Sensex is now up 30 points at 19,728.

Cipla has zoomed 4.3% to Rs 188, and Bajaj Auto has soared 4% to Rs 2,442.

ACC has surged 3.8% to Rs 1,079. Mahindra & Mahindra has rallied 2.3% to Rs 750.

DLF, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Motors and Tata Steel have gained 2% each at Rs 956, Rs 205, Rs 712 and Rs 859, respectively.

ONGC and Ranbaxy have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 1,266 and Rs 418, respectively.

Wipro, Grasim and TCS are up over 1% each at Rs 464, Rs 3,875 and Rs 992, respectively.

ITC has shed 2.6% at Rs 200. HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank have slipped 2% each to Rs 1,652 and Rs 1,195, respectively.

Out of 2,831 stocks traded so far, 2,254 have advanced, 549 have declined and 28 are unchanged.
