Sensex up 30pts; Rel Comm gains 2%

The Sensex is now up 30 points at 14,219.

Reliance Communications has rallied over 2% to Rs 456. Tata Steel has surged 1.7% to Rs 463.

Reliance, Bharti Airtel and Satyam have advanced over 1% each to Rs 1,425, Rs 816 and Rs 468, respectively.

HLL and Larsen & Toubro are up nearly 1% each at Rs 197 and Rs 1,672, respectively.

Grasim has shed nearly 2% to Rs 2,500. HDFC Bank, ACC and SBI are down over 1% each to Rs 1,003, Rs 998 and Rs 1,095, respectively.

Out of 2,447 stocks traded so far, 1,199 have declined, 1,164 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
