Sensex up 31pts; breadth still +ve

The Sensex is now up 31 points at 14,547.

Reliance Energy has gained 2.5% at Rs 562, and ICICI Bank has advanced over 2% to Rs 967.

Ranbaxy has moved up 1.4% to Rs 420. Reliance, Cipla, HLL and Infosys are up 1% each at Rs 1,404, Rs 250, Rs 210 and Rs 2,283, respectively.

Reliance Communications has slipped over 4% to Rs 494. Hindalco and Hero Honda have shed around 1.5% each to Rs 175 and Rs 719, respectively.

Out of 2,693 stocks traded so far, 1,508 have advanced, 1,136 have declined and 49 are unchanged.
