Sensex up 31pts; Infosys, TCS shine

The Sensex is now up 31 points at 13,430.

Infosys and TCS have surged 2.5% each to Rs 2,212 and Rs 1,102, respectively.

ICICI Bank and Satyam have rallied 1.5% each to Rs 855 and Rs 432, respectively. Bharti Airtel is up 1% at Rs 570.

NTPC and HLL have dropped 2.3% each to Rs 135 and Rs 247, respectively. Hindalco has shed 1.7% to Rs 179, and Reliance Communications has slipped 1.4% to Rs 398.

Cipla, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto and Ranbaxy are down around 1% each to Rs 266, Rs 825, Rs 2,571 and Rs 394, respectively.

Out of 2,431 stocks traded so far, 1,434 have declined, 922 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
