Sensex up 320pts; HUL, Bharti down 2%

The Sensex is now up 320 points at 19,091.

Larsen & Toubro has zoomed 11% to Rs 3,835. SBI has soared 5.5% to Rs 2,053.

BHEL has surged 5% to Rs 2,404, and Mahindra & Mahindra has rallied 4.6% to Rs 808.

Maruti has gained 3% at Rs 1,193. Reliance and NTPC have moved up 2.7% each to Rs 2,702 and Rs 229, respectively.

ONGC, Satyam and HDFC are up around 2.5% each at Rs 1,142, Rs 472 and Rs 2,585, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has slipped 2.4% to Rs 215.

Bharti Airtel has shed 1.7% at Rs 1,003, and ITC has declined 1.4% to Rs 180.

Dr.Reddy's and Cipla are down over 1% each at Rs 607 and Rs 185, respectively.

Out of 2,793 stocks traded so far, 1,694 have advanced, 1,018 have declined and 81 are unchanged.
