Sensex up 321pts; ONGC soars 5%

The Sensex is now up 321 points at 18,740.

Reliance Energy has zoomed over 6%  to Rs 1,737, and ONGC has soared 5% to Rs 1,147.

Tata Steel has surged almost 4% to Rs 881. Hindalco has gained 3.5% at Rs 185.

Reliance Communications has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 739. Reliance and HDFC Bank have moved up 2.5% each to Rs 2,632 and Rs 1,467, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra, ACC and Tata Motors have advanced 2.3% each to Rs 848, Rs 1,280 and Rs 821, respectively.

SBI, NTPC, BHEL and ICICI Bank are up around 2% each at Rs 1,904, Rs 222, Rs 2,388 and Rs 1,073, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever has slipped 1% to Rs 219.
