Sensex up 323pts; breadth still -ve

The Sensex is now up 323 points at 12,738.

Wipro has zoomed 6.5% to Rs 572. Infosys has surged 5% to Rs 2,105, and Satyam has soared over 4% to Rs 431.

Larsen & Toubro, TCS, ICICI Bank and ACC have rallied around 3% each to Rs 1,426, Rs 1,198, Rs 845 and Rs 836, respectively.

Reliance and Maruti have advanced around 2.5% each to Rs 1,293 and Rs 800, respectively. SBI, Cipla and BHEL are up around 2% each.

Hindalco has shed 3.3% to Rs 130. Hero Honda has slipped 1.7% to Rs 673, and NTPC has dropped 1.3% to Rs 135.

Out of 2,521 stocks traded so far, 1,517 have declined, 959 have advanced and 45 are unchanged.
