Sensex up 323pts; breadth -ve

The Sensex is now up 323 points at 15,132.

The NSE Nifty is up 105 points at 4,608.

Reliance Energy has soared 5.5% to Rs 1,258. BHEL and Ranbaxy have surged 4.7% each to Rs 1,881 and Rs 459, respectively.

DLF has rallied 3.7% to Rs 625. TCS and Reliance Communications have advanced nearly 3.5% each to Rs 819 and Rs 499, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and NTPC have gained over 3% each at Rs 2,790 and Rs 194, respectively.

Cipla, Satyam and Hindustan Unilever have moved up 2.8% each to Rs 206, Rs 376 and Rs 229, respectively.

Wipro, ICICI Bank and HDFC are up over 2% each at Rs 364, Rs 774 and Rs 2,269, respectively.

HDFC Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra are down over 1% each at Rs 1,225 and Rs 629, respectively.

Out of 2,650 stocks traded so far, 1,747 have declined, 835 have advanced and 68 are unchanged.
