Sensex up 323pts; ICICI Bank advances 5%

The Sensex is now up 323 points at 15,949.

The NSE Nifty is up 80 points at 4,820.

ICICI Bank has zoomed 5% to Rs 795. Jaiprakash Associates has soared 4.3% to Rs 235.

Infosys and HDFC have surged 4% each to Rs 1,477 and Rs 2,455, respectively.

Satyam, DLF and Wipro have rallied 2.8% each to Rs 409, Rs 644 and Rs 420, respectively.

SBI, TCS, HDFC Bank and Hindalco have advanced around 2.5% each to Rs 1,667, Rs 856, Rs 1,340 and Rs 172, respectively.

Reliance Communications and ONGC are up over 2% each at Rs 531 and Rs 1,032, respectively.

Tata Steel has dropped 1.5% to Rs 657.
