Sensex up 325pts; breadth turns +ve

The Sensex is now up 325 points at 12,905.

HLL has surged nearly 6% to Rs 177. Dr.Reddy's and Gujarat Ambuja have rallied nearly 5% each to Rs 665 and Rs 109, respectively.

Wipro and Grasim have advanced over 4% each to Rs 581 and Rs 2,193, respectively. Tata Motors and HDFC Bank have added 3.7% each to Rs 768 and Rs 949, respectively.

ONGC, BHEL and SBI are up 3% each at Rs 789, Rs 2,073 and Rs 991, respectively.

The market breadth has turned positive - out of 2,423 stocks traded so far, 1,220 have advanced, 1,139 have declined and 64 are unchanged.
