Sensex up 327pts; Bharti gains 4%

The Sensex is now up 327 points at 15,670.

The NSE Nifty is up 96 points at 4,743.

TCS has soared 4.5% to Rs 910, and Wipro has surged 4.3% to Rs 433. Satyam has gained 3.5% at Rs 440. Infosys has moved up 2.2% to Rs 1,515.

Bharti Airtel has rallied nearly 4% to Rs 814. Ranbaxy and ICICI Bank have moved up over 3.5% each to Rs 475 and Rs 791, respectively.

ITC has advanced over 3% to Rs 207. HDFC and Mahindra & Mahindra have added 2.8% each to Rs 2,340 and Rs 622, respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates and ONGC have gained 2.6% each at Rs 227 and Rs 1,031, respectively.

Reliance and Hindustan Unilever are up 2.3% each at Rs 2,376 and Rs 247, respectively.

Maruti has slipped 2.6% to Rs 744, and Ambuja Cements has shed 1.5% at Rs 117.
